Martinit stock pattern

I am new to posting here so might not be doing things correct.

Mr. 38 cal and Frank Zika,

In one the posts a person mentioned that 38 cal and Frank Zika had nice looking Martini pistol grip stock patterns.

Could you gentlemen please post or send me a picture of your pattern.  I am going together with a nice Martini model 12 that was rebuildt by Parker Hale to include putting on a 12/15 cocking lever, so I need the pistol grip stock

Thanks,

John

      jholp ;

      Hopefully, you will find what you're looking for in the way of a new stock for your Martini project.

      I would like to recommend to you, based on my personal experiences, the well established firm of CPA/Shuttleworth Rifle Co. located in North Eastern, Pennsylvania.  You will find their advertisements in copies of the ASSRA Journal magazine.

       Their catalog lists Martini stocks and you most likely will find what you are looking for there.  You can either supply your wood blank, or in the alternative,  CPA will furnish their wood which meets your specifications, should you so elect.  They do first class work and will do a professional job for you.

      The two contact people at CPA are Paul and or Gail; and they may be reached by telephone at 1-570-828-1669.

       In the mean time see:

Jholp,

Also, all of the companies that duplicate rifle stocks have patterns that aren’t necessarily listed on their website, so you need to call them and ask.

   jholp ;

        Just an after thought I wanted to add to my post for your consideration.

        When I was in need of stocks, I always spoke with Gail and she was the person who shepherded the projects from beginning to completion.  I was at CPA's fabrication facilities in PA and Gail provided various samples of stocks in order to determine which were the best dimensions and fit for my needs.

        I will add that Gail is not just an employee at CPA. she is an ardent shooting competitor who is hard to beat on the firing line, and also an owner in the business.

        I wish you much success with your Martini project.
