25 cal twist rates

I have a brand new .25 cal barrel with one in ten twist that I bought to chamber in .25/35 but now I`m thinking that I might want to chamber it for .25/20. I would use it for target shooting but my concern is that the twist might be too fast for the lighter bullets. What do you guys think, and which is the more accurate cartridge ? Thank you in advance, Paul in Oregon

I would go with a 25-20 single shot with a 100 gr bullet. If you care to sell the barrel let me know. Nailman....

Ten twist will stabilize 120 grain bullets, 12 twist will stabilize 100 but is marginal for 120, and 14 twist is good for about 85 grain bullets.  You should be good to go with heavy cast lead bullets.  Lighter might shoot okay, or might be slightly less accurate in the fast twist.
