1885 Winchester made in 1887

I have a Winchester 1885 manufactured in 1887 and orginially manufactured in 32-40.  It has a tang sight, lyman front sight, no set triggers, orginial wood.

The orginial barrel has been relined to 32-40 keeping the exterior in orginial condition.

I have been shooting cast bullets of different weights and using winchester cases and am shooting  groups around 1-1/2- 2 inch groups at 100 yards

I have been seriously lusting after a new  1874 C Sharps or a Shiloh Sharps rifle in 40-65.

What is the current selling price on the early Winchester model 1885's?

I would rate it about 50-60% with all the normal dings, patina & Etc of a 112 year old rifle.

I would appericate any help.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Beans,
If you want to see the current selling prices you might try looking at a couple online gun auction sites like Auction Arms and Gunbroker.com
Look at "completed auctions", not current starting or asking prices. That will give you an idea of what similar guns are selling for.
I'd love to help, but I'm always hesitant to put a price on a gun sight unseen. Seems like whatever I sell or buy them for, there's always dozens of guys that will tell you they paid more or less.
