read closely the add for Columbia River says similar the Stevens.  From what I can see in their transparent action the breechblock does not cam like a Stevens 44 1/2 does.  To me that is one of the selling features of a 44 1/2.
U have a good day now,  rimfire

Rimfire is right the action looke to be some kind of improved High Wall design. This has been done by a number of smiths over the years. Falling Block Works and The hammerless Clerk actions come to mind.

WOW--this new Stevens look-alike is quite pricey--2,995.95 for a barreled action and 1,500 for the wood, and that's without doubleset triggers.  That money buys two CPA Stevens Rifles.   leadball

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I looked at it too,  not sure what I saw, looked sorta like the illegitimate child of a stevens of some sort (basic action profie) and a modern reinterpretation of a 'wall--FBW type
