Joe, The resurrected low wall is fianlly together! I really appreciate our parts trade that enabled me to get it together in relatively short order. I posted a picture over at the MSN BPCR site. Here is the link:

Ken;
That is a very nice looking low-wall. Most anyone would be proud to own one like that.

Well Glen you was rite! ...and thanks Dale! I haven't shot it (except for function) yet. I'm really anxious to wring it out! Matt just got one back from Steve (barreled it with a Douglas) and he's been kicking our collective tails with it!  I hope that the GM barrel is as good as the ones you've got! We're still trying to get the 22 shoot together. Richard made the animals and we have dates set. Got snowed out last weekend too! Hows's your "pretty gun" progressing? I going stir crazy! Need to get busy and cast some, but I've got two or three more to stock!

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

You did a great job choken. If it shoots as good as it looks, it'll be a tack driver!

Ken:

The "pretty gun" is almost finished. I have pictures of the color case work which is magnificent.  Mayhaps we can get Mr. Shirt to post it a couple pitchers on the thead in Gunsmithing.  Just finished rust bluing the barrel, and I expect the Carbona blued parts to arrive tomorrow or Tuesday. Then it is time to put it all back together and see how many extra pieces I have left over...

Y'all going to start shooting .22 silhouette at Gallatin?

Glen,
I can't wait to see it in one piece, as I'm sure you can't wait either! Yep we're going to start the 22 game at Gallatin. It is fun and beats not shooting anything! Going to try to shoot second Sundays.

See you there, Ken

I am afraid I won't be making the 600 mile trip for a .22 match, although I'll bet it would be a hoot. Mayhaps I will see you folks down at Friendship once or twice this year.

Glen, With Bon Aqua closing down, Friendship is the shortest dstance for us to shoot. I reckon we'll make most of the Friendship shoots. We're all hoping that River Bend in Georgia gets their range built this year. See you in Indiana!
