Loads for breach seated 32-40

I have a Ballard and a hupburn that I shoot with breach seated bullets.  The bullets are about 219 gr and 1:20 (Ti/Lp).  I am experimenting with AA9.  Any suggestions as to amout of powder (gr) of AA9 to start with (and also a maximum).  Thanks in advance for the replies.

mrballardman,

Haven't tried for a maximum with AA#9 but if you'll try from about 13.0 to 13.5 grs. you should find something that'll work. My .32/40 High Wall likes 13.2 grs. with a 205 gr. bullet.

I will say tho that all the .32/40's I have/had prefer 4227 better.
