I have just received a series of pic's from Cecil Fredi showing Eng. , American crotch walnut and some fiddleback maple stock blanks.  I just ordered a crotch blank for my new trapper mod. Win. and an Eng. blank for a Sterlingworth.  I will be happy to forward these pic's to anyone who wants to see the quality of wood Cecil sells for a great price !!!  Write me at home.            Ken    (    kenhurst1@earthlink.net    )

Sorry guys,  I forgot to add Cecil's ph. no.   702-382-8470.   Ask for Mr. Cecil and tell him what type of blank and grade you are interested in & what frame it is to be fitted to .  Ask him to send you pic's of blank & he will send snail mail or email.  The pic's he send will have an identifying no. on it , you will see this no. twice as he will also show you the back side of the blank. FIRST class guy to work with. You owe it to yourself just to see what he has to offer and the great prices.   Ken

I'll second this recommendation. I have a very nice stick of English being fitted to a low wall from him.  It all goes well, this will be my last .22 -  Wink

Cecil is a really good guy to deal with.  He does have a web site at http://www.gunstockblanks.com/  that will give you some idea of the kinds of wood he stocks.  I have found his blanks to be about 1/4 the price of comparable blanks from high end suppliers.  GS
