Unertl tube sights

I've owned one Unertl tube sight for awhile and the rear of the tube is threaded to accept a certain size aperture thread. Not sure what the thread size is, but seems my bag of apertures has a number of them that fit it.
Now to this 2nd Unertl I bought yesterday at our local OAC gun show. It had no small aperture hole, and the threaded hole it has is a 3/8" fine thread! I'm wondering if Unertl changed the manufacture and offered different adapters to fit the tube for various aperture thread sizes?
Anyone have any of these tube sights, or know anything about these large 3/8" threaded tubes?

The larger diameter is for European aperture M 9.5x1. I have both tubes. Gehmann offers many different diopter. Anschutz sights take this diameter diopters. Champion Choice used to sell adapters to 7/30” .
