welder recommendation

I have a friend that has a highly decorated European double rifle that has the tang broken
behind the standing breach.  It is very thin and where one of the tang screws go through. I know somebody here has a recommendation and personnel experience with someone who could fix my friend up.  Please respond and I will pass the information to him.  Charlie

Have used both of these guys.

Peter Nagel
815-732-1249
Oregon, Il

Peter does work on antique firearms using tig welding.  I use him for, what I would call, a little courser work.  But, don’t take this wrong, he is very good and been doing this a long time.

Tony South
269-506-2760
Mattawan, MI

Tony does laser welding.  He may not be the right person for the job.  I have only used him for very fine welding of small parts.

I would talk to each of them and ask their advice.
