Folks, as I get more mature, the ease of reloading straight wall cases seems to make a lot of sense.

There is a Low Wall with a round .22 Short barrel re-chambered for 22 K-Hornet. Never did well with lead, but jacketed did good. My guess was the twist for .22 Short really wanted something like the 225438.

The barrel has been treated poorly, drilled and tapped for a scope, finish is not pristine...

I'm interested in a straight-wall case. Not desiring a case that requires heroic resizing, or endless searching obscure websites, or eye-popping custom case makers.

25-20 SS seems to fall down in availability... Though I do love me the quarter-bore.
28-20 ditto. I love the 285128 which works very well in the 7-30 Waters.

270 REN seems to be easy to form cases for. You can get dies for it. I have a 280468 that is nice in a 6.8SPC [wish it was the SPC II with about 0.1 longer neck].

Looking for an octagonal barrel [shooter, not NRA 100%], either lined or other.

YOur could not go wrong with going with the 32-20.
It was "classically" chambered in the low wall.
