People will sometimes ask me what is my favorite and I will usually respond "the one I'm shooting" 

I'm not into collecting and most all I have are repro's.  I do have a mix of Ballards (Cody), Rollers (LS), Sharps (Shiloh), Sharps Borchardt (BRC), Wesson No.1 (Steve Earle),High Wall (Cody), Stevens 44-1/2 (CPA), Hepburn (DZ Arms).

The old saying "be careful of the man with one gun; he'll know how to shoot it". I'm not that man and I suffer from it 

I acquired all of these as I think each has some or many desirable qualities; some just look good!

As for a favorite, it would have to be the CPA Stevens 44-1/2.  For me, it checks all the boxes. Available in many configurations; convertible to alternative calibers; easy to load and unload; breach block will seat cases; reasonably priced; parts and service availability; very good fit and finish; attractive styling; excellent set triggers; and excellent accuracy.

Between my wife and I we have several some CF; some RF; most both.
