	A friend asked me what I thought these rifles would be worth. Asking for some feedback. FWB: 32-40 30” round 1-16 Bud Welsh BBL. 1.060 at muzzle. Semi fancy wooh Weber seater C Sharps High Wall SST 28-30 28” 1-8 twist half octagon fiddleback Claro wood. Weber seater 100 cases I can ask for better photos is necessary.

	An 8-inch twist on a 28/30? The old Stevens straight case? Or some necked down 30-30? Lead bullets or a varmint rifle?

	Old straight case as far as I know. Owner indicated he believes the rifle was built as is by C-Sharps.

	I didn't know C. Sharps offered that chambering, but it's definitely a C. Sharps and looks like their wood and barrel. They generally put the octagon to round transition well after the end of the forearm like that. Chris.

	I've seen FBW's go between 1500 and 2800 that include breech seater, molds, cases, and a couple extras. There's one on gunbroker for 600

	I'd price the falling block works at about $850 to $1000. Should be a good basic rifle. The C Sharps, because of the odd chambering is going to be a slow sell. I'd put it at about $1250 to $1600.

I have two 28/30s, both lead bullet rifles with slow twists. An 8-inch twist is for fast jacketed bullets. Why go for an odd & expensive case when any old .30-30 case would do?
