Opinions on C.Sharps 1885 Low Wall

I'm wanting a new gun. I'm a shooter not a original collector. I'm wanting something in pistol caliber that's cheap and easy to progressive reload.

I have been looking at C.Sharps Low Walls.  They offer 45LC. It has a little more powder capacity than I wanted but checks all the boxes.

My concern is by the time I select all the options I want it's 5k. That is the price/quality of rifle in looking for. I'm just not sure a C.Sharps 1885 is worth spending that much money on. Getting exactly what you want is not cheap.

I have a C.Sharps High Wall. It's a nice plain gun. Not sure what someone can tell me that I want to hear.

Guard have you looked at cabela's gun library website? They have two original low walls listed for sale one is a .44-40 and the other is a .38-40 with a half octagon barrel. Both have tang sights on them. The .38 is 1529.99 and the .44 is 1299.99. You could get both and the loading supplies and have money left over compared to a new C. Sharps

Not sure if an Italian rifle would suit your interests, but Uberti makes a low-wall in .45 Colt as well as .44-40
