I just got a link to this vise in a newsletter I get from the manufacturer, looks handy, may have to order one!

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

I have seen these before. Great for stock work. I almost ordered one myself.

I have such a vise and like them for stockwork especially. I used it for some time until I was BLESSED to buy a Kimball vise, which I like even more though. I wish they were still available Sad
Pic attached… in fact you can see the other vise on the floor in the lower right corner…
Just my 0.02!
Cheers, Jeff Pfeifer

And that's why I never show pictures of my loading bench and gunsmithing area! I know it would scare some people here! Smiley

Oh, that kind of vise.  I got confused and thought the thread was about a new Vice.  I figured you guys had taken up golf.  My bad.

I was raised in Nevada. We don't recognize new vices, having plenty already.

$151 is nothing compared to the price of the hobby overall. I've used enough cobbled together setups in a variety of vices, held rifles and stocks in my hands while wielding sharp tools, have nearly dropped the same stocks, rifles and the like. Looks like a bargain to me.

I got this one a few years ago on a sale and it is adequate for the price. Probably the same manufacturer as the one in  the OP.
