AA#9 in 30-30

I saw the thread about using AA#9 in 32-40 loads. Has anyone tried it in 30-30 WCF?  I acquired a CPA with a .22RF and 30-30 barrel.  The .22RF set up worked great and I’m curious about the 30-30.  It has a 1-10 twist and I’ll be using 170 gr. Pills.

#9 should work well in anything that 4227 works well in and will generate about the same velocity if you use .5 - 1.0 gr less  powder with #9.

That said, I did some load development for a friend, with a #1 Ruger, factory chambered in 30/30. Shot BSed, 14.0 gr 4227 gave the best results in that rifle.
