Falling Block Marked STO ?

RIA has a rifle that states STO Marked Falling Block Single Shot Rifle. Also states manufactured late 1990's. Does anyone know what action this is and any history. Is it worth owning? V. Sigman put a barrel on it in 2023. Does anyone know if Verl is still with us and if so how I might contact him. I have a Ballard that he barreled also. The subject rifle is from the Clark Ehlers Collection. It appears Clark had a very large collection of single shot rifles. RIA has been offering them for several months now.

I don’t know a thing about the action or rifle.

But, you might contact Riverview Rifleworks in Toronto Iowa.
I believe they have been dispersing Mr. Ehlers collection.

I added a picture of the action. Could the STO be Storey? Does anyone know what this action is or what it is a copy of if a kit? I purchased this rifle but will probably be a couple weeks before I have it in hand.

Robb at Riverview also has a rapport with Verl. I'd try contacting Robb.

Clark appreciated homemade rifles. He expressed an interest in purchasing one of mine.

This is just a shot in the dark....Al Story is known for his Sharps Borchardt actions, but at one time he made his own "Story Actions." It might could be a "Story Action."
