I have been successfully loading and shooting my 44-90 Rem Straight Hepburn for a little while. I don’t have a chronograph yet (I’m working on it) but the books max load seems low. The 44-90 rem is only 27 grains of 4198, the 45-90 Winchester and 45-100 Sharps are both nearly 38 grains. I’m guessing this is a safe load for the rolling blocks. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!
