Bottleneck cases and Black Powder
Print Post
Years ago I set in at a match in Pembroke, MA. I was healing from shoulder surgery and just received my new Shilo Sharps. Unable to shoot I was horny to watch and listen to a group of older BP shooters. They all pretty much believed that bottleneck cases were a problem with BP. A couple guys claimed to have worked it out but nonetheless the consensus amongst these guys was that straight wall were just more accurate.

Anybody know the reasoning for why bottleneck cases should be problematic or was this just idle chatter ?
