I can’t remember if I have ever posted this one. The oral surgeon said no shooting for 4 months, so just foundling them.
This was my first German schuetzen rifle bought in the mid 1980s for $670 sight unseen. What the seller didn’t tell me was the rifle was new, never fired, not a single nick or scratch, 100% bright case  colors. It must have been new old stock in a shop. Very plain, no engraving or carving. I believe it is a System Will 1911 long frame, proofed in Suhl.

It's very much like my 1911 but, mine has some stock craving and minimal engraving. I've had it since '87.

The bottom rifle, is a 1908 22 rf, that the stock was cut down on and a Titherington barrel installed. I got it, the next year.

I'm sure yours is a 1911 but, here is a drawing to id it.

Your lever is a lot different than mine, could we see a close picture of it?

I also have a short frame 1908 chambered for 22lr. It is no beauty, but shoots very well. The only problem, it was not made to accommodate a tang sight. I guess it was made for the Swiss market. The barrel is counter bored 15 inches leaving 16 inches of rifling.
