I also like the Wilson. I’ve used one for years. There was a guy from Michigan who made carbide cutters for them. I have one that’s trimmed thousands of cases and never dulled.
As stated above, case holders for all our old cases aren’t available. I couldn’t find one for the 40-65 and had to borrow a friends RCBS trimmer. Best way to ruin a case I’ve ever seen!

My first trimmer was a Forester. Then I started shooting a CSA 40-70 SS. Needed a different trimmer and got the L. E. Wilson. True, it requires a specific case holder. But there is no pilot, like the Forester. And the finished cut has the case mouth at a right angle to the case body, which doesn’t always happen with the Forester. You can send Wilson a couple fired cases and they’ll make a case holder for you if they don’t list one for your case.

I've got what you need. The full Forester kit with neck turning tools and extra odd size pilots and collets. PM me if interested

I too have relied on the Wilson tool for several decades now. There aren't many case holders for the trimmer that I don't have - the result of snatching them up for 40 years even if I had no immediate use for them. You'd be surprised at how often an existing "common" case holder works to hold a non-specific obscure case. (Not to mention how easy it is to make a one-off holder in the lathe, often with just a Morse taper reamer.) Don't be a-feared of it!
