I do have moulds and the other stuff necessary for casting, and will do so for the Classic Sporting Rifles Shoot. But in the midst of a heat wave and with other factors including old age and laziness I would like to buy a hundred or so “OK” bullets to practice with my low wall 25-20 SS.  They don’t have to be match grade, but need to be better than culls and rejects. Can anyone point me at a likely source?

When I was messing with the 25-35 I found with my rifle it did its best with heavier cast bullets.  Standard twist for the cartridge was 1/8" which is pretty torquey.  I think that the high torque 8" twist needs bullets with a lot of bearing surface to prevent skidding for the length of the bullet.  
  If you recover some fired bullets you can see that the land cuts in the bullet are wider at the front of the bullet than at the base.
With short light bullets the wide cuts can go for the length of the bearing surface so accuracy results are unpredictable. The more a barrel is worn the more it affects the results.  I decided that long bullets with lots of bearing surface are the best bet for accuracy with less than perfect bores in the 25-35 chambering.
  After my testing of the cartridge in a well worn bore of a model 1894 Winchester I decided the best of our bullets for worn bores in 25-35 is the NEI 120gn GC because it has the most bearing surface of all our 25 caliber offerings.
