There must be a lot of money in AI written and narrated stories. AI doesn't have a clue.

I thought that with the pictures.  I live about 8 miles from the factory and worked at Remington for about 8 years back in the 70's.  I know there has to be many old photos in the area if one looked.  More than half of the photos were not local!

Better than nothing, but really not quite spot on in several areas. No mention of the Remington brothers dedication to the town of Ilion and it's workers that cost them the company back in 1887. They were so concerned about keeping everyone working that they wouldn't lay workers off when sales had slumped ever since the Civil War. No mention of how much the company lost in not getting paid fully on foreign military rifle sales either. The brother who lived in Europe really failed to do his job as a sales rep for these foreign sales orders, and even paid Winchester to assist in sales, but once Winchester got paid they refused to help try to collect monies due Remington!
