I had the original home gas check maker by hanned precision probably thirty years ago and it was slow but worked fine and it was set up for pop cans. Pat Marlin tool works very well with p.014 flashing. I have a free chek3 single stroke. Also that works well.
They do not crimp of course and dont  work on every gas check shank, but they work on most of them and i'm pretty happy with the results.
As far as everybody complaining about the cost to save five cents , look at the reloading hobby in general , it's all like that.

When I started reloading,  I paid $10 each for a RCBS Jr and Ohaus scale. Powder was about $7.50/lb, primers were $8.00/1000. But I was making $3.35 an hour an a teenager.
Like the song says,  everything changes.
