Rechambered French Gras rifle

Hello all, I have a 1874 French Gras rifle that was rechambered to .43 Spanish or somthing very similar in Belgium. I belive this is the case because the rifle has numerous Leige stamps that aren't applicable to standard French production. Overall, the rifle looks brand new from the factory. I can see where there reamed the chamber and inserted a new sleeve. The rifle shoots very well and extracts normally. However, there is a bit of gas blow by that covers the bolt in fouling, but not the fired case. I belive gas is escaping arou d the sleeve. Should I be worried abouts its saftey?
