Picked up a really nice gun to shoot 22BPCR. Previous own ground down the shutzen butt plate and I’d prefer not to grind it down the rest of the way…. Anyone have one that is a slight dish or shotgun style?

You could possibly buy one of the repro buttplates that N C Ordinance manufactures, made from urethane. By gently heating the plate you can bend the plate to match the curve of the buttstock. Also, CPA makes reproduction Stevens #3 Swiss buttplates.

I didn’t even think of that. Ordered a couple hard-ish rubber butt plates that are slightly larger, whichever one seems to fit best. I’ll use a heat gun and warm it up and attach it and then grind to fit. Thanks!
