Shuttleworth CPA Stevens 44 1/2
730 Waters & 225 Winchester interchangeable barrels

Inherited from my father, a gun collector, enthusiast, competitive shooter, and reloader who was meticulous with his guns. Gail Shuttleworth recommended this site to me as a good starting point to try and sell my father's collection.

$3200

Yes and even if it was allowed it's not a good way to sell. Get it appraised. Start with CPA Rifles which is that manufacturer  now. They may be willing to do it or get you going in the right direction.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

You can also check CPA's site and see what similar rifles sell for. Then my suggestion would be to list them for 75%-80% of what CPA lists them for.

With the small following of these specislized rifles it would be beneficial if there was a history of sold items on the site.  The sold items seem to disappear quickly.

One sold yesterday at Rock Island. It was a Shuttleworth Schuetzen two barrel set in 22lr and 25/20 WCF. It also had a Lyman targetspot scope and engraved receiver. It sold for $3259 which I consider cheap for such a beautiful rifle. I would have bid on it but I was watching two other rifles and it slipped under the radar.
