My favorite 22 target rifle is a Buchel Luna chambered for 22short. Probably made in the 1920s, has a perfect bore. I shoot all offhand so I can’t tell how tight a group it will shoot, but I am quite happy with my groups. Back in the dark days of Covid, I bought 5000 rounds of CCI target shorts rated at 830fps, still working on them. If the rifle has a good bore, just shoot it. I have posted theses photos before, but at the risk of boring you, here they are again.
