Five-groove barrels

Asking for knowledge on determining suitable cast bullet and sized bullet sizes when slugging 5-groove barrels. I have a developmental Trap Door with an 1864 Springfield lock plate and a breechblock w/out a date, .45-70, and a .43 Spanish Model 1879 Argentine RB. Thanks for all help.

Greetings,

If you are asking how to measure a 5 groove bullet, no worries.

I have a 5-flute micrometer.

Just mail me the slug.

Cheers,

Dave
