I have 3 or 4 of them.  Brass.  I like them a lot.  Only thing is that lead tends to stick to the top of the cavities, under the sprue plate.  Mostly because I don't let the sprue cool enough, I'm sure.  I scrape it off with a sharp chisel, re graphite it, and it's good to go again.

The molds usually drop the bullets well, fill out well, and heat up evenly.  They cast very uniform bullet weights.

I have 38 and 45 caliber molds.

I have a 2 cavity one that casts a .32 and a .38 caliber bullet. Excellent mould in my opinion.

I'm not a complete idiot, some of my parts are missing.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I also have a couple. Both brass and one if for my .44-100 Ballard that's a paper patch mold. The other is a stepped mold for .38-55 Ballard. They cast great, and drop cleanly. Highly recommend them!

I have one. Very nice mold. But if you are accostomed to aluminum, the brass mold will be heavier and could be more fatiguing in a long casting session.
