Wayne I'm probably averaging about 7000 shots maybe more as it's my favorite rifle. But I'm the original owner so I don't get the coverage on parts. This is lever spring number four going into the rifle and I average 300 rounds a month between practice and matches. I think l bought the rifle in 2010 or 2012. I didn't realize Shiloh's were addicting l have five now from. 40-65,45-70,& 50-70. And I'm thinking about a 38-55 or 40-50 in a lighter weight rifle.

Well guys I won't be able to do my little re-tempering experiment. When I was heating up the spring it showed a crack in one side of the screw hole that didn't show up even when I used a magnifying glass. So I added it to my little collection of broken parts.
