Assembling a 74 C. Sharps rifle

I'm putting a parts gun together, all parts are from C Sharps, decided I wanted a pewter tip on the forearm so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm still waiting on my wood to show up but had this spare forearm so if I screwed it up I was only out my time. I think it came out pretty good for a first try. I used a Shiloh forearm I have as the pattern. Funny how bad they look after you pull the card stock off but there was enough there to shape it out.

This forearm has an old crack in it that I fixed with glass bedding a while back and it disappears once oiled. heres the rest of the pics, I hope.

For a first try nice job Chris!  Looks like you have some good abilities to model/shape things.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!
