New to me Stevens rifle chambered in 32 miller short  with a left hand 12 twist barrel  Has a through bolt stock mount , coil spring main spring and mechanical extracted firing pin. Appears to be CPA double set trigger
Wondering if anyone might know who did this work

Rifle came from a Gunbroker auction from a Nevada dealer Who auctioned several Schuetzen style rifles from an estate
Will try to shrink photos to post

Several years back, I was testing .22 Short accuracy with a Stevens-Pope 44 1/2 with a 2-digit SN on the action.  I noticed a very slight movement in the buttstock when the hammer was cocked.  That cooled my interest in the 44 1/2 action.  This looks like a much belated cure.

With the left hand twist and being in the West, it could have been done by Bo Clerke.

Just a guess.
