	Can someone please point me in the right direction to find a Vernier staff to fit an original Stevens base ?

	Like finding a needle in a haystack loose form it's base! You're likely going to have to buy the whole sight to get the staff! Unless you contact Tony Maddox at The Original Sight Co. and he might have a reproduction staff he'd sell you.

	What I would like is the most simple . A staff that has Vernier scale and a simple eye cup locking slider. No screw adjusting wanted and no windage needed. Just a short staff for use at very moderate range very likely never to exceed 200 yards.

I dont have the rifle in hand yet but I know there are no rear sights on it other than a tang mounted base. I have another Stevens model 44 rifle in 22 RF that has the type of sight I want and is complete. My plan is to see if that staff will fit the base on the incoming rifle and if it does I will know exactly what I need and can then take pictures. 	The Stevens model 102 Vernier rear sight is probably what you're looking for, the simplest tang sight that Stevens made.

	Yes exactly right the # 102 and that is the one I have on my model 44 in 22 RF. So with that is there anyone making replica Stevens sights ?

	Does this look like something you can use? It is a Ron Heilman Stevens sight. The base is shaped like a Ballard but is made for the small 5X40 screws used on Stevens rifles. Screws are present.

	MVA's 133 is configured like the original Stevens 102 It's not an exact copy though. Boats

	I discovered a complete Stevens 102 in my case full of sights yesterday! I have no Stevens rifles, and it's available.
