Building a Hauck/Hagn. Ahead of the front face of the breech block is Hagn. Behind it is Hauck!

I have used different extractor designs with a highly modified Hauck system, with some success, but I had to try the Hagn system! It could handle ANY case, with no modification to the I extractor! This I had to see! I did not understand how the extractor worked, but the diagram gave the size and shape of the parts, so I made parts, and when I put them together, it worked. Kinda like the Cash Caddy!!  Mark DeHaas made accurate diagrams!

Functional. .223.  Cosmetics will happen at some point!

Ingenious extractor design if I understand what I am seeing. Would probably work with a rimless cartridge.
Do not see what drops the extractor for reloading.
