32 rimfire case sticking.

Picked a full box of Remington kleanbore 32 rimfire at the last gun show for a good price. ($50)
Added to my other 3 boxes, an almost full dogbone kleanbore, and 2 Navy Arms of which one is full and the other 2/3rds.

My problem is the Navy Arms ejects but the Remington dogbone does not. Wondering if it is more the old Remington copper case that  won't eject or maybe a slight chamber polish would help. The chamber and bore look to be in good shape so I'm not wanting to mess it up.

I may just try a little extra brass brush treatment.

Would the old Remington ammo just stick no matter what?

The Dog Bone is Ca. 1926-1928 after that they called out the bullet type.... lubricated...Silvadry. Dog bone went away Ca. 1936. The other Rem. 1936 to 1946ish.
This is all based on a compilation of 22 RF boxes.

Any evidence that someone has dry-fired your rifle?

Just a snap or two might have peened the chamber under the firing in just enough so a soft copper case swells and sticks while a stouter brass one doesn't.

I had to make a mandrel once to fit a .38 Rimfire chamber and grind a flat spot on it.  This was inserted into a damaged chamber on a Remington #2 Rolling Block and turned round and round by hand to iron the damage back into the chamber wall before I could even chamber a round.

You did say the other brand works fine? Is the copper oxidized? Maybe the copper does not relax like the brass and sticking.

Thanks for the years.

It's a favorite so the firing pin is over the extractor but I'll check.

Some of the bullets are oxidized. I've been shooting those first.
