It kind od looks like an Allen's patent but I do not see the lever release button.

I’m believe that is an AI generated picture.

Look at how the bowstring runs, it doesn’t seem to meet the end of the bow!

I believe you guys are right.  The more I look at it the more the coloring of the pic is to even.  I didn't notice the bow string either!

Well, at least it's a single shot?  (altho how you would cock the gun is as impossible to figure out as how it would be loaded)

Note that both guys have index fingers that are too fat.

Not to worry, AI wil fix all that soon enough, after which we won't be able to tell what's fake and what might be real online.  Then we can go back to: "Only believe half of what you witness and none of what you hear."

Seeing ain't believing anymore.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, why do we have captions?

Seeing ain't believing anymore.

Increasingly that's true, and how very sad it is.

I need to go to school on AI fakes. So what are the  clues you guys mostly look for in photos like this other than those posted. Are there other giveaways that would indicate AI deception ?

Years ago I went to a federal court seminar on spotting ' Photo Shop ' fakes but most of the info was too cyber technical for me. It took several years before the Admiralty Federal Courts would even admit digital photos as evidence due to ' Photo Shop ' .
