Are the threads on the modern Ballard barrels the same as those on the original Marlin Ballards?

Thanks

I used a Cody Barrel in 32-40 on my original Ballard action and it indexed perfectly. The photo below are two rifles I finished last winter, the Win. 1885 with a 34” Schoyen barrel and false muzzle. The Ballard on the right is the one I used the Cody barrel on.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Both gorgeous rifles Richard! Very nicely restored!
