Hello everyone!

I want to try to make a breechseater for my Uberti High wall. Does anyone have plans for a Highwall breechseater that they would be willing to share?
Thanks!

No need to reinvent the wheel, just order one from BPJack on the site here. If I didn't already have a pair of Webbers I'd certainly tap his wares. Just an opinion.

These are pics of a Farrow breechseater and Russ Weber's table at the ISSA Schuetzen Match in Raton.

I have never tried my design with an Uberti.  If the block measurements are the same it should work.  my seaters are $199.  Here are the instructions.

Same concept as mine but it looks easier to make.  Mine might be easier to adjust the depth especially with my latest addition of a threaded hole to lock the 'coupler'.

Breech seaters. The Noodlehead seater fits Winchester Rugers Hepburns and Borchardts and most falling block actions.

Joe, I tried my BP Jack 32-40 breach seater in my Uberti 38-55 high wall.  It did not work me either.  I then tried it in a Winchester High Wall in 38-55 and it worked just fine.

I believe the concave groove on the top of the Uberti breach block is based on a slightly smaller radius than the High Wall breach block.  The seater was real close to working in my Uberti.  It wouldn't take much to enlarge the concave area of the Uberti breach block to get it to work.

BPCRNUT,

Thanks for that information.  I have always said that my seaters are for original Winchesters, but one user got it to work in a Japanese version, but it needed some modification I believe.
Removing some metal from the nose end would probably get my design to work.
The areas inside the red rectangles could be removed and it will still work.  Just a guess since I do not have an Uberti to test with.

I made it for your thick side action Wes.  You can get a barrel for a good price on eBay if you search long enough.

Thanks for the very helpful replies and photos!
I was a little careless in my original question. There are four of us in our club that have Uberti High Walls. Two of us, myself included, got our breechseaters from Russ Weber. Another fellow had a Russ Weber style breechseater made for his highwall last winter.   The latest member of our group to get a rifle ( my friend's daughter)  just acquired it last weekend, so she needs a breechseater, palm rest, scope blocks, scope, tang sight and maybe a swiss buttplate. I have forwarded to her and her father the link to this thread, not sure if she has decided to try to have someone (me?) copy Russ Weber's design or go with one of Jack's breechseaters.  Making a breechseater has been a project that I have contemplated for the fun of it, even though I don't need one right at this moment.  At any rate the answers and photos have been very helpful and informative, and on behalf of everyone in our local Schuetzenverein I thank you very much!
If anyone has any other suggestions, please fire away! Due to the fact that the Uberti rifle's dimensions are apparently NOT exactly like the originals, we would prefer to not have to send the rifle out to have a breechseater made in view of the cost and risk involved in shipping the rifle.
