At $713 end price I think it went higher than I'd want to pay, unless it's a very high power version.

I bought one in 15x from Rock Island a few months ago that is in as new condition with the case and paperwork, cardboard spacers still on the tube. After the buyers premium, tax and shipping it cost me $945 but hey, it's brand new and I wanted it to go on a brand new Sharps that I bought. Money's gone but I've got a real nice rig. No regrets.

I gave $400 for a 12x Lyman Super Targetspot last August at our collector gun show. It was brand new and had never been mounted on a rifle. I did have to loosen up every adjustment on it as it had never been moved since it was made.
Bought two Litschert scopes at Greeley for $350 each; in 12x and 20x power. Both like new.

Huge group of guys at the show who had equal chance to buy all of those scopes. So not sure why they hadn't sold to someone before I saw them.
