I'm not sure if that's even what its called but got an old 1885 Low Wall that the ejector spring is broke on, when I open it up after firing the extractor does not move so having to use a fingernail to pull the spent cartage out.  Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks

If the ejector does not move at all there are more problems than the ejector spring.

ejector moves, just doesn't kick back like it should when you open the lever.

The wire spring is a replacement for the early spring.

So if I understand correctly, your saying either will work? And is the wire spring considered an upgrade to the other? Thanks

Less chance of breaking the wire spring. I should fit in place of the original.
