Whitney 3 click rolling block...fork spring?

I'm looking for a replacement "Fork" spring for a 3 click Whitney rolling block.  This is a very thin spring that sits on top of the main spring and locks the action shut. 
This is a 40-50 Sharps Bottle neck with a great bore.  Compared to the simplicity of your average Rem. Rolling Block, this Whitney action is about as complicated as it gets.

If anyone has a suggestion I'd be muchly obliged!

You say it’s thin so it would easy to make by the looks of it.  I am assuming it is parallel sided and not tapered as the picture shows.

What you have is actually a Whiney-Laidley safety Rolling Block rifle action. These are wonderful actions, but as mentioned more complicated than Remington's patent. But you can put a Whitney-Laidley on half cock and load it, which you can't do with later Whitneys or Remingtons.
