Colorado gunmakers

I am looking for info about a gunmaker I believe worked in Colorado. i have a Ruger #1 which was rebarreled to 32-40 with a full octagon barrel. it is marked D. Fansler on the top flat. I have been told he worked with Richard Hoch in Montrose,Co.
I dont know if Hoch was making barrels there or not. It is a 1-16 twist with left twist???
I was told also that Russ Weber associated with them.
Anyone who can shed some straight info on this will be appreciated.    thank you    dave

Dave Fansler took over from Dick Hoch when he retired.   Both made barrels as well as moulds.   I had Dick Hoch make me a 30-40 octagonal barrel for a Ruger #3.  Later I had Dave Fansler rebore it to 40-60 Maynard.  I think Dave has since retired.   The moulds are still being made, but I'm not sure who has that part of the business now.

Yes Russ Weber customized many Rugers but to my knowledge all the ones I saw him shooting had RKS barrels.
However he may have fine tuned some of the Hoch barrelled Rugers for other shooters to deal with the front spring issue.
