That's an incredible survivor! Those No.4 rifles were used hard and its hard to find one on good condition. Nice work!

At the Greeley show in May a friend who had driven up from Texas for his first time to the show came over to my table Sunday morning with a #4 in .22RF to show me. It looked brand new and still had most of the old varnish they put on the action to protect the case colors! It wasn't cheap at around $700, but as I told him, "How many brand new old century old guns do you ever see?"
It was the most beautiful old #4 I've ever seen.

Ive got an almost new one in .22 long I purchased last winter for $775 shipped. They make a nice pair.
