Many of you may already have this, but if not, or if you want a PDF, the whole booklet is downloadable from

How do we know that humanity isn't just a race of tame primates, domesticated by dogs to serve their purposes?

In that article it says in one place that he won a Stevens rifle and in another spot that he won a Winchester.  Did Gigi win anything?  Maybe not because she was a professional shooter. I am confused.

Jack,

What I remember was that it was called a "celebrity shoot." We were asked if we would allow someone to shoot our rifle in the match, I coached a sportswriter from a Denver newspaper, and as I recall it was ten shots at 200 yards, my shooter's first four shots were 25's, he was impressed. Now, there were actually two different celebrity matches. The first match was a promotional match for the people who were invited, and I assume were paid by Coors, they all won prizes. The second match was for the newspaper people, like the guy I coached, I'm not sure if they won anything. Max Goodwin was in charge of promotions for Coors Brewing, so it was all advertising and promotions for Coors.

Sounds like fun. I wish I could go back 40 years and get into  single shots back then. Of course back then I had no money.
