I always disliked the Helm butt plate that disrupts the continuing lower line of the stock. But to each his own someone once said. Never much liked that saying either!

Send Rodney a PM and see if there is any chance he still has a casting lying around, I doubt it but you never know.
His bronze of this is one of the better I've ever seen, the lettering came through in the casting.

Thanks Greg! Rodney had another and it's on the way to me!

Krag,
I agree with you on the looks and flow of the stock to hook, they grow on you when you shoot them though. I like the feel and the stability they bring me shooting awful hand.

New part came in today... I picked up a few used cue balls on eBay to make palm rests, did one, it's kind of bland so I ordered an eight ball, yet another project...  Got more coming, smaller that fit little hands...

Be sure and let us see one when you get it done. Never thought of doing one with a billiard ball.

Vall,
I think I actually made a sketch of the rod, if I can find it I'll forward it to you.

No, the muzzle before every shot.

This pipe bowl came with a Litschert scope I bought on eBay.  I am going to incorporate it into a palm rest somehow.

Jack, you could fill it with incense after putting it on the rifle and use it for an additional wind gauge. I'd avoid using any of the now-legal substances. The competitors may take offence when it affects their shooting.

Not sure of how I want to configure it. Wes suggested glueing it into a small ashtray. Not sure but I will smoke on it.
