I recently purchased the entire supply of Jamison .25-20 SS brass. This modern manufacture brass is, to my belief, the best .25-20SS brass ever made. My intent in purchasing the lot was to support the single shot shooting fraternity by making a reliable source of brass available in this caliber for the forseeable future (at least my remaining lifetime). In order to do this, I have decided, with the approval of the ASSRA board of directors, to only offer this brass for sale to ASSRA members. I am also going to limit quantities to discourage hoarding, speculation and scalping. I have chosen to do this to maintain an inventory for the future, without resorting to excessive pricing to do so. That's not to say the brass is going to be cheap; I had to invest a considerable sum to obtain the brass, and the price will be such to recoup that investment. I will also be returning a commission on the sales to the ASSRA for the use of the forum. I encourage others that use the sale board here to do likewise, to help support the ASSRA financially, and cover some of the costs associated with keeping this forum available. I will have brass available for shipment in July. When it is available, I will post an order form. In addition, I intend to have a running ad in the ASSRA Journal. A requirement for purchase will be to include proof of ASSRA membership with the order. I also have a quantity of loaded .25-20 ammo. I intend to sell the ammo through Gunbroker, as well as here. Direct sales via this forum will be at a lower price, and will also support ASSRA via commissions. There are also a number of other obsolete calibers of brass and ammunition that I purchased with the .25-20. Many of these calibers are desirable to the single shot and antique rifle community. As I am able to sort, process and prepare those calibers, they will also be offered for sale. Some will be sold off in wholesale lots, so I don't wish to list the calibers at this time. Details and price list to be forthcoming. For those of you that will be at Quigley in a few weeks, I intend to have some display samples there, and should have price lists available for the other calibers. Thanks to the ASSRA and the members here for your support!
