What cartridge is this bullet for?

I picked up a Barnett mould marked

25-1 .3685  .352

I cast some bullets in 30-1 and they measure .737" long with a base of .366 and the front band measuring .357.

Kind of fat for a 357 Magnum.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Jack

I haven’t lost all my marbles yet but there is definitely a hole in the bag somewhere.

Heavy bullet for the .38 S&W cartridge? A so called police load used to be factory produced with a 200 grain slug.

Would probably work with a 35/30 or 35/40 Maynard. Many of them use a .367" dia. bullet

There is a mention of tha Mayard bullet the same size as this one in the following thread.

Might make this mould worth more than I paid for it.

Thanks

Much too fat for a .38 S&W.

Jack,

FWITW my 35-40 Maynard has a .358 groove with a 12 twist.

Your projectile length would work but I don't know about shaving off
10 thousands in a sizer...?

Anyone..? Ferris...
