High wall shotgun butt plate-need pictures or ???

I have a high wall “special sporting rifle” with a steel shotgun butt plate  but I have a sneaking hunch it may not be original. I can’t find pics of one anywhere. Does anybody have a pic of one or a good description? Mine is checkered with a widows peak. The one on my 1886 is smooth so that’s why I’m wondering.

The one on my original 1885 is as you describe. I have a reproduction marked Win 1885 that is smooth with a "widow peak" in my part inventory though.

Mine is checkered right to the edge, no smooth border. I can’t get a pic of it right now as I’m away from the rifle.

"Right to the edge" sounds like a Niedner.

My stock maker-friend thought the same, an original Niedner.  I can live with that.
Thanks

Winchester High Wall made in 1887.

I'm not a complete idiot, some of my parts are missing.

Looks like the same one used on the 1897 shotgun and others.

This is CPA’s checkered steel Niedner.
