There is a reason RCBS makes Shiloh Sharps .40-65 dies !!!!!
BECAUSE normal dies will not compress the cases enough and they do not rebound enough in the Match chambers and they stick.
A match chamber is made with high precision for enhanced accuracy and consistency in competitive shooting.
Usually a match chamber is on the tight side of specs in just about all dimensions.
It also has a short leade and tight throat resulting in the fixed ammunition fitting close to the lands in a more centered position.
A match chamber helps the bullet lie in the chamber in a more concentric fashion to the bore of the rifle.

Well, after our schutzen match today, went down to Dad's house. The cases he sized would chamber, but when I closed the block, would not eject. Marked a case with a sharpie and chambered it and the base was the problem. I screwed the Shiloh die in the press, resized, and voila, it ejected! It seems that he did not size the case far enough down. He is going to load up a couple rounds and take them to the range Monday to test fire. Hopefully they eject fine so he can load up more for our match coming up!
