Uberti 1885 Low Wall trigger issue

Hi all. Recently joined the group after having received an 1885 Low Wall (new) for Christmas. The trigger has what I deem to be excessive play, forward and backward 1-2 mm slack, whether or not weapon is cocked. I wouldn’t think this is normal, but I’m no expert. Anyone have an opinion on this?
